We are currently seeking a Mobile Forensics Engineer specializing in personal security products for mobile devices platforms. Serving as a professional staff member on-site with the Government's team, the ideal candidate will support key system level activities in the deployment of state of the art communication systems. Candidate must be organized and effective in communicating plans, requirements, results and information to customers at a variety of management levels and technical backgrounds. The Mobile Forensics Engineer will be responsible for analyzing the current market of Mobile Security tools, and conducting surveys to determine leading Anti-Virus Products, updates and features claimed to be in each product, and cataloging the supported mobile platforms. In addition, the Mobile Forensics Engineer will provide feedback regarding testing methods with a focus on enhancing testing procedures. Based on conducted research the Mobile Forensics Engineer will submit recommendations regarding which security products should be tested on which mobile devices. Plan and implement Anti-virus testing to determine how they interact with other applications on mobile devices. Document interaction between security tools and other products on mobile device operating systems to ensure effectiveness and reliability of the hardware and software configuration for the customer. The Mobile Forensics Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed test plans and test reports to document the results of the test events. The Mobile Forensics Engineer will utilize packet sniffing/ capturing tools such as Wireshark to observe any traffic between the anti-virus product and the outside world. The testing of all mobile devices and other applications with the security applications shall be conducted in a closed test bed environment and the Mobile Forensics Engineer shall be responsible for establishing and maintaining baseline metrics for on-going testing. The Mobile Forensics Engineer will be responsible for the forensics analysis of products and provide reporting related to the digital footprint of all products tested. The Mobile Forensics Engineer will make recommendations as to how to mitigate software footprints and interaction with PSP products. QualificationsRequired Experience: BS Degree in Engineering or 12 years experience as an Electrical Engineer, Computer Scientist, Computer Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Engineer 5 years experience with network forensics analysis products and packet sniffing / capturing tools such as Wireshark. Advanced knowledge of Digital Forensics Analysis, Reverse Engineering, Mobile Security Tools and scripting. Preferred requirements: Knowledge of planning, designing, and implementing test strategies, test plans, test cases, scripts and procedures to identify software problems and causes; and security research. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
