Synopsis: This position is for a certified SharePoint Developer in support of a proposal for the Marine Corps' Product Manager for Fire Support Systems (PdM FSS)service contract. The developer will be in charge of daily maintenance of multiple, hierarchal SharePoint sites, modifying those sites to support specific PdM FSS requirements, provide training to end-users, and interact with the MCEITS host to resolve SharePoint site issues.
Period of Performance (PoP): Maximum of 32 months: 8 mo base period, and 2 option years.
Place of Performance: Stafford, VA area
Description:
1. The candidate shall develop, maintain, and monitor content and standardization of the Program Manager Armor and Fire Support Systems (PM AFSS) / Product Manager Fire Support Systems ( PdM FSS) SharePoint sites and site collections hosted on MCEITS, which are used as the platform for information management and document collaboration. The SharePoint sites establish the framework to increase individual and team productivity within the PM AFSS/PdM FSS environment thus providing the ability to collaborate and proactively interact with data, discussions, and tasks. The Contractor shall interact and coordinate with users supporting the PM AFSS/PdM FSS SharePoint on a regular basis to ensure consistency, functionality, and applicability is maintained across the SharePoint sites.
2. The Contractor shall develop PM AFSS/PdM FSS SharePoint site solutions, building site taxonomies, forms, and repositories within the PM AFSS/PdM FSS SharePoint site collections. All SharePoint site development must be compliant with and work within the constraints of the Marine Corps and MCSC Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) network. The Contractor shall develop and update SharePoint collection sites and create and manage the hierarchy of those site collections, sites, and sub-sites to ensure uniform navigation across the PM AFSS/PdM FSS SharePoint Portal. The Contractor shall also monitor and troubleshoot performance issues within one business day with the Marine Corps Enterprise Information Technology Systems (MCEITS) helpdesk to ensure the sites are running at optimal performance. The final solutions shall be compatible with the current software builds of MCEN Information Technology (IT) assets.
3. The Contractor shall train PM AFSS/PdM FSS personnel on the use of PM AFSS/PdM FSS SharePoint site applications and site functionality. The Contractor shall conduct training with the implementation of new site applications, workflows, and templates to both Government and the support teams. The training can be provided in the form of user guides, videos, one-on-one sessions, or classroom style sessions. The average class size is expected not-to-exceed 20 personnel and will be held at the Government site.
4. The Contractor shall develop or update existing PM AFSS/PdM FSS workflows and templates within the SharePoint Portal. The Contractor shall develop workflows and templates that allow flexibility for tailoring for multiple types of documents which require various routing options; eliminate duplication of effort and data; maintain configuration management of the document while in review and correspondence while streamlining the review, approval, and signature process of various correspondence and documentation throughout the PM AFSS/PdM FSS Program Office.
Required:
3 years experience conducting SharePoint development and maintenance.
Demonstrable experience creating and using SharePoint workflows and templates.
Current Microsoft-based certification with a SharePoint focus, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), and Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
Desired:
Experience working in a MCEITS environment.
Training experience, to include development of training materials.
Experience supporting PM AFSS/PdM FSS or another Marine Corps acquisition Program Manager.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
