Job Title-USMC Training Coordinator
PROJECT Overview:
The MCIOC provides operational support to Marine Forces (MARFOR) and to the Marine Corps and Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) and provides IO subject matter expertise in support of USMC IO advocates and proponents; enabling effective integration of IO into Marine Corps operations.
Responsibilities
Perform the duties of Executive Agent for the Marine Corps Information Operations Program.
Form, train, equip and deploy IO and Military Information Support Operations (MISO) support teams.
Maintain a single, fused, and continuously accessible Marine Corps IO reach-back capability that is fully integrated with relevant information and analysis sources such as Joint, DOD, and other Government agencies.
Support the Marine Corps Advocate and Supporting Establishment in the development of IO and MISO personnel, equipment, and fiscal resources.
Sponsor the training, education, and retention of IO planners and MISO personnel in order to manage the USMC IO subject matter expertise.
Support Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration (DC CD&I) in the development of IO doctrine and Deputy Commandant for Plans, Policies and Operations (DC, PP&O) with the development of IO policy.
Maintain functional relationships with all Joint, OSD, USG, and partner nation IO-related organizations.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND
Responsibilities:
Assist in the sustainment of an Information Operations formal school training capability. This includes coordinating support with DOD, services, Joint, Allied Nation and Other Government Agencies (OGA) to utilize IO training initiatives and programs.
Support and assist in Unit Training Management, annual training and education, pre-deployment training, formal schools liaison and coordination.
Coordinate internal and external requirements for all lectures, classes, on-line courses, ranges, field training, course registration, and maintenance of records management.
Coordinate all Unit Training Management requirements
Conduct liaison and coordination for all formal schools training within the MCIOC
Track overall command training readiness to include deploying MCIOC teams and individual Company readiness
Conduct planning for all formal schools training for Information Operations related courses
Conduct liaison for the Marine Corps via the Training Input (TIP) Conference, budget management, and quota control management
REQUIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Security Clearance: TS/SCI
Experience in training coordination/management
Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
Comfortable communication with all levels of management and employees.
Strong planning, organizational and coordination skills.
Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
DESIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Experience in Marine Corps operations.
Experience with Systems Approach to Training (SAT) techniques
Experience in Information Operations
Experience with MCTIMS, RFMSS and SharePoint
