In support of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense, TASC is looking for a DOD Acquisition Analyst lll to work in Stafford, VA providing the following support:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Provide general knowledge of budget and program principles, policies, procedures, concepts, standards, and terminology, as well as an understanding of financial management and business operation systems.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Receive budget year guidance and preparing Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and budget year documentation, to include the Internal Operating Budget (IOB), prioritization lists, functional support agreements, and Unfunded Requirements (UFRs).
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Administer a complex annual budget, which involves receiving, processing, and allocating funding, as well as managing budget execution and preparing financial reports.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Maintain all financial data, developing templates and tracking financial activity (e.g., Obligation and Outlay (O&O;) plans, etc.).
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Conducting monthly analyses on program status and forecasting future program financial health.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Assist in development of acquisition documentation and program milestone reviews.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Identify program line Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA) requirements.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Prepare contract requirements, modification packages and awards, and providing financial oversight of contract deliverables.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Provide guidance to senior leadership on a broad range of programmatic, acquisition, and financial issues.
Education Requirements:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Successful completion of a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a Master's Degree, preferably with a major in Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline, is required. DAU Level III certification in Business and Financial Management (BUS-FM), or the civilian equivalent, is preferred.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ A combination of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline, DAU Level III certification in BUS-FM, and seven (7) years of experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
General Experience Requirement:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Seven (7) years of general experience and four (4) years of experience in a program office or similar organization
Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirement:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Knowledge of the DoD CBD and Joint Service financial management Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process and experience submitting CBD Budget Estimate Submissions (BESs) and POMs are desired; serve as the senior budget analyst and staff budget advisor
Clearance Requirement:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Active/current Secret clearance is required.
This position is located at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
