Job Description
The Engineering Analyst will work within the areas of reliability and logistics analysis disciplines with a range of support duties that include data mining, extracting, manipulation and transformation for input into various predictive and mathematical models that summarize numerical data into usable information.
Education/
Experience: Bachelors degree with a minimum of six (6) years experience. In lieu of degree an additional four (4) years of professional work experience is required. Experience with Combat Support Equipment (CSE) management and data collection programs is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The selected applicant must be familiar with data mining techniques from varying database configurations to develop performance specifications for inclusion into Government approved technical documents. Must be able to prepare written reports and/or oral presentations describing the methods used and the results obtained during the data collection process. The selected applicant should be able to identify and prepare documents to address equipment specifications, OEM technical manuals, design drawings, Material Safety Data Sheets. The ideal candidate should be familiar with FMEA, FMECA, and Reliability Centered Maintenance. The applicant should possess the ability to communicate findings to the customer and staff as required. The selected applicant will be able to research, collect, and organize collected data to support development of Requirements Traceability Matrix. The selected applicant will have good working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications, excellent communications skills; both written and verbal are desired. A working knowledge of Government approved Technical Instructions (TIs), Modification Instructions (MIs), and Supply Instructions (SIs) is desired.
