Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services is currently seeking an Information Assurance Technician to complete tasks designed to ensure security of the organization's systems and information assets. Protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Works with end users to determine needs of individual departments, implements policies or procedures, and tracks compliance through the organization. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Required
Experience:
Must be able to follow approved baseline certificiations in accordance with DoD 8570: CISA, GCIH, CISSP (or associate) CASP
Must have 7
years experience in Information Assurance (IA) technology or a related field
Experience in Enclave Environment, advanced Networking Environment, and advanced Computing Environment
Expert in all functions of both IA Technician (IAT) Level I and IAT Level II
Must have active DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree in IT related field
Previous USMC experience required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
