This position is located at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Office, Stafford, Virginia. You will be responsible for the performance of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) investigations involving the deployment, operation, installation and maintenance of TSCM equipment and techniques for the Department of the Navy (DON) operations worldwide. You will be developing, maintaining and deploying investigative techniques as required for and related to the conduct of global TSCM mission requirements.

GS-11: $63,091 - $82,019 per year
GS-12: $75,621 - $98,305 per year
GS-13: $89,924 - $116,901 per year

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
