Minimum Qualifications:
will assist the IA Range Lead Engineer in the design, planning, implementing, and managing of the IA Range network environments.
Must have either a Bachelor's Degree in Technology Management, Information Technology, e-Business or related field (+1 year experience) or a High School Diploma (+5 years experience).
Must have either one (1) year experience (with a Bachelor's Degree) or five (5) years experience (with a High School Diploma). This experience must include at least two (2) of the following:
Set -up, and configuration and support of internal and external networks,
Identifying and analyzing systems requirements
Developing and maintaining systems applications and security,
Developing and maintaining network configurations.
Troubleshooting network performance issues,
Providing user support and guidance.
Recommending and implementing upgrades, patches, new applications and new equipment
Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans
Ensuring proper documentation, coordination and maintenance of multiple systems.

Special Requirements
Must have familiarity with standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices and procedures. Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) interoperability requirements is preferred. Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to gain TS/SCI

The ITSS I will be responsible for
Implement hardware and software footprints to duplicate network services.
Configuring, and managing separate Virtual Network Environments (VNE's) for customers.
Implement IP and VLAN schemas to support operationally realistic VNE's (duplicates of customer networks).
Implement active directory schemas and group policy objects to support the VNE's
Configure boundary suites to apply security protections to VNE boundaries.
Support customers using the VNE's inside the IA Range during exercises and/or missions.
Identify and analyze system requirements
Implement upgrades, patches, new applications and new equipment
Develop and maintain Standard Operational Procedures and Disaster Recovery Plans
Performing network troubleshooting and maintenance.
Desire experience with Cisco product line (routers, switches, firewalls) to include multi-protocol support environments.
Desire have experience with Microsoft networking (server build, network services, and active directory) to include supporting Microsoft in a distributed environment
Demonstrable knowledge of network architecture and design and their application in the MAN, BAN and LAN environments.
Fundamental understanding of securing networking protocols in a mixed protocol environment.
Preferred experience in one or more of the following
Non-Cisco product line (routers, switches).
Firewall product line.
Other Vendor OS (Linux, Unix, etc).
Must have (and required to maintain) an industry sponsored mid-level certification from a major network equipment vendor (Cisco, Foundry, Juniper, etc) or a high level certification from Microsoft
Periodic travel to military sites world-wide (as required)
Essential Duties of the Job:
Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
Ability to work on
for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face.

is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
