FAR Group is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team.
The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient functioning of our office, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining a productive work environment for our employees.
This full-time position is based in Stafford, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
oManage and supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
oOversee office procedures, including implementing and maintaining efficient filing systems and record-keeping processes.
oEnsure strict compliance with company policies and procedures, fostering a culture of adherence throughout the office.
oMaintain office equipment and supplies, coordinating procurement and vendor relationships as necessary.
oManage relationships with vendors, service providers, and the landlord, ensuring satisfactory resolution of any issues.
oAssist with budget preparation and control expenses within the allocated budget, ensuring cost-effective office operations.
oOrganize company events, meetings, and conferences, coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth execution.
oCoordinate travel arrangements for staff members, including booking accommodations and managing itineraries.
oEnsure a safe working environment for employees by complying with health and safety regulations and implementing necessary measures.
oFoster effective communication within the office, promoting a positive work atmosphere and addressing employee concerns as needed.
Requirements:
oBachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
oExperience in office management or a similar role, preferably in a government contracting environment.
oDemonstrated experience managing administrative staff, providing leadership and guidance.
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various stakeholders.
oStrong understanding of office procedures, policies, and budgeting, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
oProven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
oHighly organized, efficient, proactive, and resourceful with exceptional interpersonal skills.
oDetail-oriented with a positive attitude, demonstrating a track record of effectively managing an office environment.
