Construction SME - Proposal Writer

Our client, an 8A Alaskan Native Government Contractor, is looking to hire a Construction SME/ Proposal Writer to their team.
This role is supporting the business development team for federal contracts focused on utilities, facilities, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing related capabilities.
We are looking for someone who has technical expertise in these areas who have some technical writing experience.
This is a hybrid role working 1 day/ week in office.
Primary responsibilities are below:
o Reviews and interprets Requests for Proposal (RFP) requirements to develop comprehensive, compliant proposal outlines and writing templates.
o Collaborates with Proposal Manager, Capture Manager, and other proposal writers to brainstorm strategy and approach and ensure decisions are captured in proposal outlines, templates, and other documentation.
o Leads development of assigned proposal sections, to include:
Knowledge of construction management processes, work accomplishment, and industry best practices to assist with development of a concept of operations to meet an RFP requirement.
Ability to create new content to appropriately respond to RFP requirements for specific construction and/or renovation projects.
Able to create sample job plans, standard operating procedures, and other material to meet RFP requirements.
o Writing and editing original text, tailoring boilerplate, and rewriting third-party contributions to fulfill RFP requirements Prior field/ on the job experience in a trade Proposal writing experience BD/ Capture management experience Bachelor's degree or related certifications 5
years of experience in construction environment as a project manager or leader with explicit knowledge of trades Experience supporting federal contracts Technical writing experience Recommended Skills Business Development Concept Of Operations Construction Construction Management Editing Hvac Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
